I’m am so excited to share this collaboration with an all time favourite brand – SISSYBOY!
Sissyboy has always been one of my favourite brands to work with and it actually dates back to the beginning of when I started my fashion journey in retail, back when I had made Cape Town my temporary home. I’ve always had a great working relationship with them therefore this came as no surprise. Their new collection is something I’d love my whole wardrobe to comprise of, denim as the primary and everything in between that can take me from daytime to night-time and still ooze fabulousness.
This is my first official collaboration as a style blogger, I can barely express in words how enthusiastic I am about the year ahead especially if these are the opportunities that await me. A toast to this debut is in order, but before that let’s get into the styling details.
Styling for this shoot was fairly easy, the co-ord/ two piece did pretty much all the work, all I did was accessorise, the wallet which I wore here as a clutch added the perfect dosage of colour and character. The wide-leg trousers are obsession worthy, can you think of anything more classy than a fitted wide-leg trouser? I think not, you can pair these trousers with a tucked denim shirt or a white colar shirt to enhance the look, prints or stripes you name it.
Less has become more for me in recent times hence I felt that the sleeveless blazer would add the perfect finishing touch to the look particularly as a more conservative alternative if going “too bare” is not your thing or simply unsuitable for the event you have in mind. In summary, I felt edgy and classy in this ensemble.
The location was simple, the monochrome wall assisted in reinforcing the neutral shades of the garments and accessories.
