I reworked some of my favorites to put together the super CAJ (casual) look. I’ve had this denim shirt for a few years now and of all the clothes I give away, my denims I tend to keep simply because it never goes out of style. Denim is like fashion democracy… everyone has one or has had an item before! I find denim so versatile and can be worn in most circumstances, and I constantly find myself inspired by denim trends and street style.
I’m a denim girl and have always been, but that no secret if you’ve kept up with my other posts. I feel my best in a pair of comfortable jeans, a t-shirt and blazer, it’s one of the reasons I love and feel most inspired now that I’m living in Johannesburg, contrary to Mozambique where I feel my style inclined mostly towards boho-chic.
After spending an amazing afternoon with friends at Maboneng Precinct (Joburg’s newest it-place) my sister (Miss_Glambition) and I took to the rooftops of Sandton City to shoot our outfits. Now, I won’t get into the details of the drama surrounding this shoot, but proof of it is the access wrist band that I forgot to take off before shooting *SHRUGS* , so please ignore that! LOL
“I have often said that I wish I had invented blue jeans: the most spectacular, the most practical, the most relaxed and nonchalant. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity – all I hope for in my clothes.”― Yves Saint-Laurent

Being back in JoBurg means catching up with all that’s trending, who’s who and what’s worth seeing, exploring or trying. Glamour SA magazine has a few interesting insights as well as Mila Kunis sporting a DOUBLE DENIM look – I promise you, you cannot go wrong with this look.
P.s. These photos were taken by my gorgeous sister Miss_Glambition check out her awesome corporate chic blog!!
